Orico Superseed Multi-Oil and Streetwise Coco Spritz - Reviewed

Orico-Streetwise-Cocco-Spritz-and-Superseed-Vitamin-Dry-Multi-Oil-Review

You know that game where you're given an object and you have 60 seconds to come up with as many uses as possible for it? Well, the Orico London Superseed Vitamin Dry Multi-Oil would be perfect for the beauty version. The list of things you can do with this product is pretty open-ended - it can be used as a spray-on body oil, a face oil, a pre-shampoo treatment, a hair de-frizzer on wet and dry hair, a massage oil and a hand, nail and cuticle oil. One of my favourite uses is to apply it before hand cream for an extra conditioning over night treatment.

The Superseed oil absorbs well without leaving a greasy residue and contains nutrient-rich seed oil from Baobab, Rosehip, Macademia, Wheatgerm and Sunflower which are well known for being high in antioxidants and having mega-moisturising powers. They all work together to hydrate, rejuvenate, soften and calm wherever it's used. It's pretty much scent-free so it's not going to clash with your main fragrance.

Though it doesn't have quite so many uses, the Streetwise Cocoa Spritz is a lovely product. It can be used as a traditional toner or sprayed directly on the face when you need to feel refreshed and uplifted. The ingredients to this one are particularly yummy and include Coconut Water, Cocoa Seed, Papaya and Mango Fruit Extracts, Orange Flower Water and Aloe Vera.

It's becoming just as important to many of us what's left out of our beauty products as the ingredients they actually contain and Orico London are committed to omitting this long list of 'nasties':

Parabens
Mineral Oils
SulphatesArtificial Fragrances and Colours
DEA
Silicones
PEGSTEA
PetroleumPhthalates
PropyleneGlycol
Methylisothiazolinone (MI)Methylchloroisothiazolinone/Methylisothiazolinone (MCI/MI)
Formaldehyde releasing preservatives (quaternium 15, imidazolidinyl urea, DMDM hydantoin, 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1, 3-Diol)
1,4-Dioxane

The Superseed Multi-Oil is £19 and the Streetwise Cocoa Spritz is £18 and they're available from selected Debenahams, the lovely Orico London store at 315 King's Road, SW3 (0207 351 7574) and online from their site HERE where you can get a deluxe sample of the Marine Radiance Serum if you spend over £40 before 30th September.

As an end note, I always think it's interesting to know about the people behind beauty brands and the woman behind Orico London is definitely worth knowing about. Shirin Valipour has worked in the health and beauty world for almost 25 years and is a well respected pioneer of natural beauty products. Before starting Orico London she worked at Neal's Yard Remedies where she launched new product ranges and generally modernised the brand. Her mission with Orico London has been to create a beauty range that is powerful and effective, organic, fast and easy to use while also pleasant on the senses and she has definitely achieved her goal.
