Upside Down Mascara by Sephora Collection

In the pursuit for longer, thicker and curlier lashes we're always trying out new mascaras, different types of eyelash curlers, wearing falsies and extensions, and applying growth potions. But now Sephora have brought out a new design of mascara wand that I think only the bravest would dare put near their eyes.

The Upside Down Mascara looks like the Frankenstein monster of wands. With it's dual brush heads it's like a cross between tongs and a pair of pliers. The all black colour doesn't help lessen the torture weapon look of the thing.

You are either supposed to sandwich your top lashes between the brushes or use them pushed together, which is what's recommended for the bottom lashes.

Not surprisingly, the reviews on the Sephora site for it aren't great. Lots of people are complaining that they end up getting mascara all over the eye area. They're also saying that the actual mascara formula is clumpy and flaky.

It's available for €18, 95 at the French Sephora and $22 at the US Sephora. I think this is a pass from me but would you be tempted to try it?
